I just walked out of there fuming. HORRIBLE customer service. Refused to honor the warranty on our battery that was not holding a charge. Told us we needed a new alternator which we had done elsewhere for 60 dollars less than they quoted us. Also wanted to charge me a 99 diagnostic fee to tell me that I needed a new alternator. What a joke. They nickel and dime you and then don't honor warranties. Rip off. Will never go back and will never recommend them.
Stay away, I know I will. And I'll cancel my membership because of it.
Fast forward to 12/26/17. I drove home from the airport and my serpentine belt went (I knew it went because my power steering went and after looking under the hood, I could see no serpentine belt). I had AAA tow my car to this service center. Even though I knew what the problem was, they insisted I pay a $99.95 diagnostic fee to make sure there weren't other problems. Once I got the call back, I was presented with $3,000 worth of problems. After declining them all, they replaced the serpentine belt.
The staff is always courteous and speedy. Great experience every time. It can get busy so making an appointment is a good idea.
Very Positive Experience. I've had my oil changed at several places around town, and never had such a smooth, stress-free experience. The gentleman at the service counter was professional, friendly and communicated clearly with me about the things they recommended for my car. I live on James Island, but think this team is worth the drive.
I really was hoping to leave a 5-star review but not to be. A year ago I took a car in to have an alignment and they sent me away because they said the alignment should only be done with new tires. They said I needed new tires but they tended to be more expensive so suggested I look elsewhere for tires.
The normal cost for a serpentine belt replacement is $150-$250. This one was $400+. Why? The labor charge was reasonable. It was the markup on the parts. The belt and the tension assembly could have been had at a parts store for $150. They instead charged me close to $300.
